holy moly, most of my furniture is wooden. cupboards, sideboards, table, chairs, beds - you name it.

should i even be considering shipping them?

I'll second that! Only yesterday I was looking round the furniture and wondering how it stacks up against putting everything wooden into a special box and marking it as "wooden articles". And surely this is true for everybody? Unless all your furniture is plastic or metal, which would be... um... strange.
