Wonderful, Marvelous, Glorious Rain!!!
VICTORIA'S drought-stricken north-east received some relief with heavy rain overnight.
Albury-Wodonga recorded rainfall of 60mm since 9am yesterday morning and good showers overnight resulted in 30mm of rain over three hours between 8pm and 11pm.
Bureau of Meteorology senior forecaster Ward Rooney said the rainfall was widespread throughout the north.
The rain also resulted in some minor flash flooding in the Wodonga and Tallangatta regions.
State Emergency Service north-eastern region manager Arthur Farn said it received 11 calls for assistance for mainly blocked drains and leaking roofs.
