Unhappy Woman missing in Sydney

Does anyone know anything about a women who has gone missing. She is a friend of my bosses son who is living in Sydney and she should of got on a flight back to England a week ago, but disappeared a few days before the flight and hasn't been seen since. Apparently there is a search and media cover in Australia, but nothing over here, and I wondered if anyone had read anything about it.
Thanks for any info
Sue
