Will This Sell Your House Any Quicker
Were selling are house and in this stagnant market we needed a bigger shop window to sell it in ,so after our initial 3 month selling period with the local estate agency we went for a winner take all deal with a second estate agent.this means both agents are going hell for leather to beat each other to the sale. we have 3 viewings next week and had 2 this week.hope this helps

yep we did the same cheeky starting price to the realistic one were at now.

too many people in the north east are still holding out for "silly" prices so our house actually seemed cheap in comparison, we just considered it realistic. We are leaving some furniture, a telly, old fridge freezer and old washing machine behind to tempt them.
whereabout in manchester are you and how much, I someone who is relocating from the northeast to manc.
whereabout are you heading, we are off to melbourne in september.

I thought it was always this kind of "winner take all" contract if you use more than one agent - surely you only have to pay the agent who actually gets you the completed sale????? 
I've sold houses several times but always got away with just the one....

Yup
Ours is now on with 3 agents 2 in the area and 1 to attract from outside of the area.
1st agent 3 viewings in 4 weeks all of them tourists! One said we really wanted a run down property to do ourself, why come and see a complete refurb and newly extended one then?????
Oh and screw the agents down to 14 day contract and no morw than 1.75% on winner takes all
