Will PC work ok in Oz???
 

Hello guys,
Can anyone let me know if it's ok to bring your PC??? I know alot of TV's & videos won't work, so I thought I better check on whether the PC will be ok as we were thinking of bringing ours.

i dont see why not!! at the worst all youd need to do is change the PSU

Yes of course it will as long as you change the plugs.

Ditto - we took a PC from UK over to Oz; it worked without problems. As a general rule (there are exceptions), where the Brits had an Empire up until at least the 1950s:

- people drive on the left
- the mains voltage and frequency are same as UK (even if the plug fittings aren't!)
- the telephones have a similar ring to UK
- and they speak English! :)

I thought the PC would probably be ok in Oz, but just wanted to confirm.
