Will an Ozzie Digital box work on a U.K. TV?
Hi all,
Is there anyone here who understands TV's please?. I bought out Grundig widescreen tv over from the UK and bought an Ozzy VCR to watch the tv through the tuning on the VCR.
We live in Mornington and the reception quality of the only two half decent channels (ABC and SBS) is poor. I'm thinking of getting a digital box to hopefully improve the picture quality, will it work with my UK TV?
Thanks in advance,
65KK

We are also in Mornington and had problems with SBS and ABC pictures. SBS was better once we got a Digital Box but I had to get a signal booster ($40 from Dick Smiths) to get anything the ABC Channels. Its fine most of the time but it still breaks up occasionally.

Hi Dave,
Thanks for the info. We live just off Racecource road (Bowman Drive) we have a signal booster but the reception is terrible. I assumed that getting the digital reciever would give it an A1 picture?

I did get given the number of a Guy who specialises in tuning etc of TVs , Videos , Set Top boxes and the like so if you continue to have problems I can PM it to you. I believe he's based down this way.

I ended up with improved pictures on the other channels but nothing on ABC. I bought the signal booster on a colleagues recommendation and that has done the trick for us.
