Re: will my teenage kids make freinds
i thiink as long as some sort of routine (eg school or a job) develops for them pretty quickly things will be fine. The main thing will be for them to be out there meeting people and developing their own network for friends, going out and socialising will soon follow.

I jump on everthing that mentions teens on here, it is so hard moving with teens, I have been through every emotion under the sun with mine.
I'm not saying anything constructive, just sympathising with u

We are off to perth, but right now i am scared to mention it, will start again when the visas are here (shoud be March), have tried the talking to teens before with her............will tell u a funny story.
I met a couple, off to perth in March same as me, lovely couple, got 2 boys age 12 and 14, got my 14 year old girl, to talk to their 14 year old boy on msn, she turned on the web cam, he was wearing a baseball cap and smoking......................she was not impressed, he also told her.........and I explained it was just a 14 year old boy with brovado, he wanted to get away as he was fed up drinking and smoking evey weekend.........she's blocked him from msn..........makes her sound like a snot, yeah, was going to say snob, but snot, sounds better, but she's not, she is just very focused on her life here.............knows where she wants to go.
I also have a gorgeous 7 year old girl, who I know without a doubt will benefit from the move

Cheers, will keep in touch, one of the positive things we have done, is my daughter is a keen gymnast and have contacted a club in Perth, this wasn't easy, a few clubs passed our names along as it is acrobatic gymnastics she does, but anyway, found a club and coach in Perth near where we are headed and she has been brill, cant wait to get my daughter over, she has sent encouraging emails and photos, have said it before, but I owe her a pint.
If she is 'into' anything, perhaps u can try this
