Default Will I definately need one...........

A CV that is.

here I have a high powered, full time technical job. Hopefully when we get to perth I will only be working a couple of days a week (If that) and am not really fussed about what I do. I have read a lot that you MUST have a CV, but is it really required for what I call `tuppence hapenny` jobs????????

I have a CV for all jobs I apply for (all the parttime/casual jobs).
I think it's normal to have one, just a summary of what you've done in the past... schools, other jobs, personalia.

Can't see why you wouldn't have one, it's not that much trouble (though I do think you have to direct it at the job your're applying for)

I'd put one together, no matter how short. A lot of jobs can be applied for on-line (have a look at www.seek.com.au for example) and if you have a CV its so easy to submit it. Just put the basic stuff together, needn't be too long if you're only after a p/t job, but I think it would be useful.
