We are one of these familes who have not got a will and keep meaning to do one. We move out to Oz in march so should we do one in UK first or wait till we get there But what happens if the plane goes down enroute

Hi

We have just done our will. We are flying out 23rd October and just wanted to do one as we have 2 kids and just thought we should have one!

I think you can have another Will in oz if you end up buying property there.

Are you in a union at work? Ours does one for free. Also some bank accounts here offer discounts on Will writing too if you are thinking of getting one done.

Personally, if the plane goes down it will have me, hubby and the kids on it so I dont give a tom tit what happens to my stuff after that!

Default Re: Will

That was a last minute thought my wife had. So I hand wrote one at the airport and gave it to my best friend.

It said something along the lines that if the whole family was to die enroute to Aus (by such and such a date) then the estate was to be equally divided between my 2 brothers. It also appointed them both as executors (apparently it is legal to appoint a beneficiary as an executor although this is not normally advisable).

Do one now and make a new one after you move to Australia.
