Wild Kangaroo Pictures

The kids think I'm sad, the Aussies at school wonder why the fascination, but I don't care and LOVE to go looking for wild kangaroo's.

Here's a few pics from the few I see earlier today :

With the last pic I didn't see this today, but after coming home and uploading the pics to the PC and blowing this clip up a bit I noticed this:

(look closely)

Ahhhhhhh!

Here's short clip of them in motion. It's only 3mb odd, but will prob take a while if your on Dial up.

Hope someone enjoys them as much as I did taking them ... :)

Yeah as I say we didn't see lil Joey till I uploaded the pics.

I got out the car and walked towards them and it's surprising how close they'll let you get before they go bouncing away.

The three with lil Joey wouldn't let us get so close tho, and now I know why!

Ahhh, you need to know where to look ... ;)

We're moving end of the month to Coomera Waters and there's a big road that leads from the motorway there (Foxwell Road). I've seen a few along there, but the other side of the estate is where your pretty much guaranteed to see loads!

I wanna see a Koala tho and altho I keep seeing the 'slow down Koala's crossing' signs, I never see em!

Pity a lot of Australians would prefer to shoot them than look at them.

Hi G,

Yeah I hear this ... :(

An Aussie I know over here told me only a few days ago about a place where you'll find so many wild kangaroo's that you can take blindfolded random shots in any direction and almost be guaranteed you'll hit one! ...

Nice! ...

Oh well, maybe it's along the lines of the golf club and the Cane toad maybe ?!?
