Finished work. Flat rented, car sold, everything either in storage or sent on the ship. Mobile phone handed back. Left with 4 bags - 2 going tomorrow unaccompianied luggage and 2 coming with us. Spent the last week saying goodbye to everyone. Now sitting at my in-laws until the flight goes from Heathrow on Thursday...tick tock...tick tock...wierd....so wierd...

Hi Matt,

We are going to Melbourne. I have just finished work, we haven't sold our house yet, my parents are going handle the sale on our behalf. I haven't got a job out there yet but hope to soon after we have landed, luckily we have in-laws we are staying with for the time being.

Thanks Nigel - we're going to be in Melbourne too and it'd be good to have some recent arrival friends. Keep in touch. We leave on Thursday, spend the weekend in hong Kong and arrive in Melbs on Tuesday. When do you get there?
