Up and running. :)

I will be running 2 desktops and a lappie so wanted a large download.
Searched what plans were available on http://www.whirlpool.net.au/
TPG were by far the cheapest for a 1.5 meg download - by approx AUD 40 monthly !
Read a bit about them on Whirlpool and decided they were for me.

Cheers Bix - I'll compare it with Telstra who I have my phone with.

Most would not advise going with Telstra.
Two others I considered were Westnet and IINet. Both have good reps but cost a lot more tha TPG.

I still have phone with Telstra.

Yes there is but it's a whopping 20gb.
How does that sound for size ?

Here's their website..........http://www.tpg.com.au

If you look them up on this site.....http://www.whirlpool.net.au/
they get some bad press on customer service but equally good press on reliability. So the conclusion was if it's reliable you won't need the customer service anyway.

My experience has been very good on this though. I screwed up the registration. Phone was answered quicker than banks & utility companies in UK and was resolved on the line. A good start indeed. Oh, and the modem was free.
