Hi,

One of my collegue was planning to move to Australia and the problem is he cannot face 43C temperature. Australia is very hot in summers and there are lot of spiders and flies....

43 every day here, when it drops below 41 I put a cardie on.

I want to move to France, I like the French countryside but I can't speak French and I don't like their attitude, what should I do?

Can't do anything about the flies and spiders, they bug you, but live with it. Just wondering about the +43C comment. If he can tolerate +42C as you said, he should be ok most of the year, all of the year if in Tasmania.

Australia is a huge country - the same size of the US (with Alaska chopped off).

Yes, some areas get hot in summer. Some areas get lots of flies in summer. (The spiders are a myth.) But there are plenty of areas that get neither.

For example: You also have Tasmania which is as cold as England. And you get areas in Victoria/NSW that get so much snow in winter that you can only get about on skies and snow-mobiles.

Flies, heat, humidity, spiders - move here, deal with it and accept it easy really and not rocket science either.

If he is already stipulating the temperatures he will tolerate then he is in for one rude awakening.

Yep saw a pair of crocs walking down the Queen St mall last Thursday lunchtime.

People here are so used to them here no-one batted an eyelid.
