I had a bloody great night.

....my wife just asked me to add that she, who wasn't drinking at all, was scared shitless all night long. !!
Just goes to show what half a dozen Carltons can do for your perceptions of a place.
I personally would have voted for Dapto or Bellambi over Albion park. Mind you the article does cite brutal murders in Albion Park, not sure if the other 2 ever had any..........

The house rent in Sydney is comparable to NewYork or Los Angeles. The temperature in Melbourne,Sydney and Perth in Summers go upto 40C-45C and normally the rental houses doesn't even have ceiling fan. In US or UK when we rent an accomodation mostly we get furnished kitchen whereas in Australia normally rental accomodation doesn't have any refridgerators etc. in kitchen.

Australian market also lack famous brands/variety like Harrods', Marks and spencer, etc. etc.

Why we dont get quality rental accomodation in affordable price in Australia?
In a nutshell it is to a large part due to lack of competition and a slightly passive population in the sense of by and large going along with what is dished out to them and seldom complaining.

Always comes back round to being a plus for Australia with you.

Aussies are only passive because they are so happy. Love it!!

What next? They are only rascist because they are so united in their Aussieness?

Is there more competition if you have a large number of small players in the market or two big ones, who enjoy pretty major benefits of scale and go head to toe with specials every week?

Besides there are plenty of good independent sellers of meat, veg and fruit.
