I'm going on a working holiday to australia but do not have any travel insurance sorted out yet. I'm not too worried about this and so have decided not to go for a backpacking insurance deal, but would like to get insurance for the flights incase I loose my baggage. When I spoke to Barclays they say I couldn't do that because it has to cover the whole length of the trip as you will need to be in the uk to make a claim. Does anyone know the best place I can go for the travel insurance I'm looking for or will I be forced to get backpackers insurance for a year?
