Default WHV - documentation required for employment

Hello all,

I recall reading something on this forum or elsewhere which usefully summarised the documentation that Working Holiday-makers in Australia should bring for job-hunting purposes. Now, frustratingly, I can't seem to find it! Sorry, therefore, if this has been covered elsewhere and feel free to direct me to any relevant thread or other website.

Obviously, there is the resume. But I'm less certain on two other issues:
1 - References: is it advisable to bring written employment references (or copies of them)?
2 - Exam/degree certificates: are photocopies acceptable/desirable?

Thanks,

P

Definitely bring references, you could bring written, but will probably have to provide contact numbers and email addresses for them. I have had to get certified copies of my degree certificates done here a few times. I've had these certified at uni here, don't know what the equivalent would be in the UK, but someone on here will know. Perhaps it would be a JP or maybe you could check with your uni/examining body.
