Who's A Good Boy !
We have wanted a dog for a while, and just love border collies.
So we need to know are they readily available in perth ????
I know the breed quite well and will prob get 2 so they can be hyper all day with each other

In our experience of dogs, I would advise not to go for two dogs (whatever sex) from the same litter as there does tend to be problems over dominancy which leads to fighting (some might call it sibling rivalry but it is not pleasant to see and there's no fun to be had out of trying to separate fighting dogs)
I would love another border collie so it would be interesting to find out if they are a breed that are common throughout Australia. Anyone got the answers for us? . . . . .

Collies are lovely used to work on local farm with 2 collies one of each.
Would obviously get one from 2 diff blood lines.
SO any one know of a good breader or if they are readliy advertised in the west.
I know the oz out back stereotype is a ute with dog in back .
This dog is a close relli of the uk border collie anyone got info on that (good boy ) too

The reason you've had no replies, is that we were all asleep!!
As far as I know they're common here, lots of people have working dogs here (even in the suburbs... )
Anyway, bump!
Cos I'm not sure!
Oh, probably quite a few in the pounds and rspca shelter too.....

Heaps of breeding kennels in Southern River and am sure someone will have the breed your looking for... maybe try looking up the perth yellow pages for breeders.
