Myself, my partner and daughter aged 3 will be leaving for a new life in Sydney in October (as long as we can sell house!).

JoJo, we are from Gravesend too, small world!

Would be really great to meet when we arrive. Am excited but very scared too!

I'm travelling on a 457 solo and arrive in Sydney on 6th Aug.

All very scary and hectic, but hey you gotta give it a go !.

Didn't want to feel left out although we are already here!!

Came to Sydney also on a 457 visa with husband and three children in April of this year and have settled in the Hills District.

So far so good and good luck to all those embarking on this adventure!!

To think that its been 12 months in the making and now we are only 3 weeks away !!!

Going on a 457 Visa, still trying to agree Lafha with employer, wish me luck.

Hi the Phillips clan will be going to Sydney mid August to start a new life too. initially on a 457 as we are still waiting for our 175 to come through. if all goes well we land in Sydney on Monday 18th and I start work on 1st September in CBD.

We are arriving on 3rd August, going on a 457 with hubby's job.have two kids age 6 and 2, we are being put up somewhere for first 4 weeks with hubby's job, then looking to settle somewhere in the hills area,Would love to meet any other mums with kiddies the same age to make some new friends!!

I would defo be up for meeting up, especially with those of you that have children, as it will be good for the kids to make friends too.
