Will do :)

There has been quite a few threads on here about schools but I haven't got around to reading them yet. I think there's a few people doing reccies in the next couple of months so hopefully they'll post their findings too.

Thanks

Hi Susan, I too am a November applicant (which you prob already know) I don't know much about schools etc, but we have used something, when researching into suburbs and their locations, that we have found extremely helpful.

WA Perth Street Directory. It has not only the suburbs and streets, but it has names and addresses of everything from schools and Hospitals, to ice rinks!

It has been a great help. The only problem is you have to order it from Australia. (PM me if you need any more info)

Hi there,

We're just about to put pen to paper for our 47SK once a few more matters have been checked out, sponsorship fees etc. We're Hopefully going to live in perth, looking at around the kinross area, currumbine etc. We have family in that area and we just returned to the uk 2 weeks ago after visiting for 3 weeks over xmas and new year. I've never felt so depressed on returning from a holiday. Hopefully our Application will be ready to be sent away end Feb/ beginning March as we need to wait on 2 new passports being organised first. My patience is getting the better of me already and just wish we were flying out next week. Nevermind only a year and a half to wait!!

I really like the sound of what Rockingham has to offer but I've recently read the shopping centre here is not that good, & I love to shop!! Anyone got any views on this?

I don't know about the shopping centre in Rockingham, but I have been to the Lakeside Shopping centre in Joondalup, and I loved it. It even has a cimema, which is cool, as we like watching films :)
