Who offers best exchange rate
 

We are due to leave for Perth in a couple of weeks and need to transfer approx £15k. Can anyone reccommend who to use for the best rate?

Has anyone actually done a comparison of what you will 'actually get' when changing money with some of the more popular currency exchange companies mentioned on this site?

I need to transfer £10k to get me started soon. I had an account with Hifx but never used it. I'm checking to see if it is still open.

Shaun, please mention your membership of British Expats when contacting Ozforex as they often are able to give members a preferential rate.

Thanks I will do. When i joined I used the link at the top of the forum and noted BE in the 'where did you hear about us' box. Hopefully will get a better deal as the more they know about BE the better it can only be for all of us.

We used Money Corp in the UK to transfer £15k before we left to come to OZ, they got us a better rate than any bank etc could offer.:)
