WHO LIVES IN CLIFTON BEACH?
Hi everyone
Would love to hear from peeps living in Clifton Beach, were coming over next summer to visit my sister who lives there and me and my partner are getting married there as well (fingers crossed).
There will be about 14 of us, 12 of us are looking to rent accomodation in Clifton for a month maybe a large house or apartments (3 families).
Is there a gym in Clifton, my sister has just moved there and not yet on the internet so I wonder if anyone has any info.
Thanks to you all.

Hi Lolly.
Don't do it! I don't mean the marriage thing.
Clifton Beach is a place people live but I would not recommend it as a holiday destination for any length of time as there is bugger all there.
I would suggest you look at Palm Cove which has everything Clifton lacks and will offer a wide range of accomodation types. All within walking distance to restuarants, boozer, some shops and beach.
Failing that Trinity Beach which is a downsized version of Palm Cove.
Clifton has very little of anything. I'm not aware of a gym there and the nearest I can think of is at Smithfield campus about a 10 minute drive away.
Here's a little something to whet your appetite for next year:

Re: WHO LIVES IN CLIFTON BEACH?
Tapped up me mate today cos he's lived in Clifton for nearly 8 years. He agrees it's not the place to park yourself for a holiday. Okay for a week he said.
There are very few accomodation options. The only thing he could think of was some flats near the beach but says they're not brilliant.
There is only one (expensive) restuarant cum cafe and no other facilities. There is a small shopping centre on the main Captain Cook Highway as you turn off into one of the Clifton access roads.
Oh, he doesn't know Roy BTW.
