I have just decided last week to do the opposite now so we have gone out & brought another house with the hope of things in proving in the next 4 years. If they do this will give us extra funding for oz.Only 4 years left on visa so its then or never.

Well we had 2 notes of interest one has pulled out the other cant offer anything as they are trying to sell there's!!

Then out the blue a viewer that had came way back when we first put the house on the market came to view with her husband last week then again unannounced last night for over an hour!!

Just buy the house so we can goooooooooooo!!!

First viewer in months and they are not happy with the distance to where we park the cars. Our spaces are 30 paces from the front door at allocated parking (a house next door then the parking at the side of that). It is too far. Also the downstairs is too small. Don't these people read the specs on the house before viewing and to make matters worse they live 2 streets away.

Rant over, just hope someone who wants a house views soon.

I thought everyone had gone from this thread and we were the only ones left! We had 2 viewings last week, one said we were at the top end of their budget and there were things they wanted to do to it The others said they were downsizing from a 5 bedroom 3 bathroom but didn't want to downsize this much, we have a 4 bedroom 2 bathroom detached bungalow. What do these people want I know just how you feel. Everytime you get a viewing it gets your hopes up.

Wife put her house on the market about 3 months ago. We've had about 2/3 viewings a week.

Dropped the price about 15% over that time.

Had 3 offers:
The first needed to sell theirs first.
The second live across the road and have offered a few % under asking.
The third are taking their time and giving mixed messages regarding having the money, but have offered full asking..

The second have instructed their solicitors this week.

I hope the neighbours across the road who have put in an offer don't know you are migrating to Aus!! They might gazunder if they know your situation, i.e drop their offer as the paperwork goes through and leave you emotionally blackmailed to accept their lower offer. I wouldn't put it past an estate agent to let slip your plans.

Warning to others, don't tell anyone, even the estate agent your plans, only close family and friends.
