Yesterday had my first kebab - chicken with "the lot" which included bacon and eggs! Delic.... OK, it's not a pie but so far that is my fave!

i had a "pizza pie" once - looked nice - ham pineapple cheese etc - when you bite into it its full of mince beef - such a weird combination - dunno what i was expecting - but it wasnt that!!!

And a 'floater' is an altogether different thing in Australia. Suffice to say that you wouldn't ask for one for your lunch!

Oh no - that's disgusting! Even worse than the 'floaters' as Aussies know them. We will have to blame you Brits for this infliction on Aussie gourmet. (Mind you, given the choice between this and a kangaroo fillet burger and those mushy peas are looking alright!).

What winds me up os that most places want to charge you extra for sauce. 30c for a small sachet of ketchup, what a rip off! I'm learning to enjoy things without sauce.

I prefer the Heinz ketchup. But whatever you do, NEVER ever ever try the Heinz big red soup!! Vilest thing i ever put in my mouth :scared:

You cant beat "Cookes" minced beef and onion pies, mashed potatoes , loads of liquor and smoothered in pepper and vinegar.
