WHM Visa
the ahc in London are quoting 4-5 weeks processing time for the above visa, and require that you send your passport with the application. Does anyone know if there is a way round this, as I want to apply asap, but also need my passport in thr meantime. Can I submit my application and send the passport when a decision has been made??

Re: WHM Visa
As far as I know you do not legally need to include a passport to make a valid
application for a WHV. However, in order to make the decision on your visa application, the AHC needs to be sure you hold a British citizen (or other acceptable) passport. I've no idea whether sending a certified copy of your passport at application stage will do or not, and I would suggest contacting the AHC except for the fact they seem impossible to contact (by phone at least). Maybe if you live near London go and ask the question directly.
