Scotland may now have its own parliament, but it has limited powers.
The government in Westminster still calls the shots, so Scotland is in no way independent whatsoever.

The only way Scotland can gain independence from England is if there is ever a majority of nationalist MP's in the Scottish seats in Westminster, they would exercise a mandate to call a referendum of the people of Scotland, asking if they want an end to The Act Of Union with England.

If the vote is yes, then the Act Of Union is repealed, Scotland gains independence from England, and England gains independence from Scotland.
It works both ways.
