For IT, it depends on your speciality. There are still some IT specialities on the 'wanted' list for Aus MODL. Otherwise many here (on the forum) report a very poor market for IT workers in Aus. NZ posters report that IT job market is still buoyant. Canada - probably don't even think about it as Canada has tightened up on migration considerably in the last few months (JAJ?).

For cost of living - check out the cost of living calculator on www.gomatilda.com

For quality of life - it depends completely on you. Best to research the countries you are interested in, list the things that are important to you and do a SWOT analysis for each place (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats) - that's what we did. It's a simple technique that allows you to explore more fully your immigration choice.

But first of all, best to look at the entry requirements for migrants on www.immi.gov.au and www.immigration.govt.nz because if you can't get the points together for migration, you'd be wasting your time.

Cheers - Don

Yes, Canada has tightened up its system recently. Although they
haven't cut eligibility numbers, they have changes the requirements.

http://www.cic.gc.ca has all the details.

You probably need more than just an Australian degree (your English
needs to be perfect as well) but yes, an Australian degree,
particularly from one of the better universities, will be a big help.
