Mash, what about getting your house on the market asap, from bitter experience it can hold you up if it goes wrong or doesn't sell quickly? Also threats of drops in prices.

Just a thought.

Ours went on the market in August, sold September - end of, fell through November. Sold again first week of January, fell through again a week ago. If everything had gone according to plan we should be in Perth now!

Good luck!

Queesland, Sunshine Coast end of Dec or early Jan next year.
We are thinking of putting our house on the market in the Summer, and moving in to rented for a few months ( if it sells quickly.
I have read a lot of horror stories on here about house sales falling through. I don't want it to hold us up. This is of course if we get the visa around Oct time. I won't finalise the sale until I get it through.

Adelaide, but we are only just starting out. After reading the many horror stories of house sales we have decided to put ours on the market April.
my poor mum and dad, they are going to have 4 lodgers for goodness knows how long.

The only unfortunate side to this is storage, any clues, anyone.

cheers

Hazel,

Here's a link to the last poll (May last year), people who haven't voted before can vote now, or you can startup a new poll for those still waiting to go.

Cheers,

I'm sure this has been done before, but think it would be useful to those of us who are relatively new to the forum

we're heading for Adelaide (hopefully)

Jan hi
I am curious, why Busselton. I believe it is lovely there but it is not the 'typical' sort of place most migrants would head for.

Hi

My mum and sis live there and hopefully visa permitting we will settle there to start with. We visited in 2000 and really loved the place and besides it will be lovely to be able to pop into my mums for a coffee now and again :-) Shes been out there since 1980 (although not in Busselton) so I have a lot of catching up to do.

Cheers
Jan
