Default where to stay in Cwmbran wales

Not sure if im in the right bit for posting this..
Moving to Cwmbran Newport for a few months before we come to OZ, hubby has a new job and money will help for move

Anyone stayed or stays near there, could advise good or bad areas to avoid? Got kids so need primary and secondary school .

Caerleon not far away - 'twas a pleasant place 22 years ago.

In Newport - not far away either - Allt yr Yn - was quite sophisticated.

Depends how much you want to pay.

Hoping to pay no more than £600.00 for a 3 bed, would like fully furnished.
schools, nice area is on top of my list

Caerleon was one of the hightlights of my last trip to the UK. Not sure what it would be like to live there but it was a great place to visit.

Not sure of the maket in the area but that would seem be at the lower end at first glance : http://www.rightmove.co.uk/
