Re: where to stay in albany??
You can't go wrong with this place:
http://www.parkfarmholidayretreat.com.au/contact.htm
I reckon it will easily accommodate you all. The people who run it are great, when you arrive there is fresh baked bread and a lasagne waiting for you and it's got the best dining table I've ever seen, sawn from a huge jarrah tree tunk and seats about 10 people.
Plus you'll meet their pet emu, Enoch.
BTW, we stayed there a couple of years ago.

We normally stay at the youth hostal. It's cheap, clean, near the town centre and about 300 metrs from the shore.
It's not every ones cup of tea but we enjoy it. Quite often we find family groups staying in the hostels.
