Where Are Our Passports??
We sent off our passports to London to have our visas put in over 3 weeks ago and have not heard a thing yet.
We sent them by recorded delivery and tracked it to London and it arrived ok,but after e mailing them and phoning they just keep telling us to keep e mailing.
We are getting a bit anxious especially as on the guidline letter it tells us it should take 4-5 working days.
Can anyone shed any light on this???

AHC web site says that once you have waited 10 days you are entitled to chase them on it. Obviously you are beyond that point.
DId you take the reference number for your return envelope, If so you can trace that on Royal Mails web site and see if it has at least been posted back to you. (there is always a chance that they may be at your local post office waiting for collection if you were not in when they tried to deliver it)
If not keep chasing AHC and hope that your email gets actioned by someone with a heart.

Think I would phone em again and advise you want an update there and then.............if still not happy ask to speak to the line manager

Mine were there and back in 4 days....
I would chase this up in earnest I think.
Don't worry though - you've done all the hard bits - this is just the last hurdle to get over (and it's only a snallish one).

Did special delivery there and back, sent them Monday afternoon and got them back Friday morning, so I would chase like mad!!!!!

Yes we inclosed an envelope.We have finally got through to someone with a `heart` and our visas have been evidenced and were returned on 16th June so we just need to find out where they are now.
Thanks for all the replies and help and ill let you know when or if we get them.

Still no sign of our passports.
Keep phoning royal mail and they say they will declare them lost after 15 working days(1st july).
They left AHC on 16th june.Really starting to panic now.
What happens if they are declared lost??

Do a search for a thread by JasperPentop from around April sometime. They had some problems with their passports going missing between AHC and home. They got them in the end, but I think all the details were on her thread
