Default Where to live in Perth?

Hi
I have just returned to Perth after 13 years in London- a bit overwhelming- where shall I live? Any suggestions? Also I would like to rent a flat - with some furniture- are there companies that do this?
Please help and advised ....

More info needed - budget, where is your work etc.

We quite enjoy the Perth Hills - if we ever moved into the city from the regions, we would probably look there, in the Kalamunda / Lesmurdie area.

On an unlimited budget, Cottesloe, Mosman Park etc.

Failing that, I would aim north of the city centre rather than south. How close to the CBD do you need to be?

A lot of uni-agers and young adults leaving the regions are moving to the Mandurah-Rockingham area, for affordability reasons, though that area is kind of Bogan Central.

That's about as valid as saying that 'the regions' are Country Bumpkin Central
