Where to Live in Auckland?
My wife has been offered a job in Intensive Care for Auckland District Health Board and starts in September.
We have been researching where to live in Auckland and realise it will obviously be at a higher premium than our first destination choice, Hamilton. Can anyone advise on the good areas to live particularly in relation to good schools.
The eastern suburbs look quite expensive, so we were considering Howick or Pakuranga as alternatives.
Any information on either of these areas would be appreciated. Is it an easy commute from these places in to Grafton.
We are hoping that the visa will be quick to come through as we have not yet completed the applications. I've heard 4-6 weeks is standard for a work visa with a job offer already in place.
