Where to go ???

Where to go ???
We are hoping to emigrate to oz later in the year,just instrcted an agent, who has told us it could take 6 months. I am a midwife,so applying for 136 visa and wondered if anyone has any idea if it will be processed quicker as on jobs in demand list? Also we have a young family and would like to go somewhere quiet and relaxing, but also needs to be good schools/facilities for kids, were thinking somewhere in Perth, any advice

Hi Karen and welcome to the site. 
We are going to Perth too soon.
Yep post July visas do seem to be going through quite quickly. You could look on www.austimeline.com to check up process times on simalar visa apps to yourselfs.

Hi Karen,
Thanks for your reply, will check out website. When are you going ? Have you got your visa ? We are really excited but its quite scary as well :scared: Thinking of putting house on market but wonder if we are jumping the gun a bit !!

No, not got them yet but hopefuly any day soon...
We have waited until now before we are getting ready to sell the house but some sell up sooner. Its down to personal choice really. You could rent or if poss stay with relatives (if it is an option) if your house sells before your visas arrive.
Im in the 'headless chicken zone' at mo!! this comes after the scared/excited bit!
