My husbands skill comes under the TRA, where in England do you get skill assessed for that. I dont even know where to look, he has been in the same job for 20 years, self employed, in the building trade, alot of what he does he picked up along the way, therefore, no college degrees etc.

Any info or advise please.

You dont. Skills are assessed by australian bodies. Looking in the booklet (SOL - skilled occupations i think ). This will list each job, together with the points it would earn, and the assessing authority. At the back of the book is the address for the authority, or look it up on the web.

Not a problem being self employed, plenty have used invoices, letters from accountant, tax returns, etc in this situation.

good luck.
