Hi

We are only four months in Australia but would like to buy an investment property with some of the money we made on our house sale at home. Because we are new to Melbourne and outer burbs we don't even know where to start researching. Can anyone with any experience give us a few tips on up and coming areas where we could start our search??

Also, I saw an article on one of the news programs (don't know which channel unfortunately) about a couple who have gone into property development full time. They did a seminar to get them started run by two old geezers who have been in the property game for years. I don't suppose anyone knows who those old geezers are?

Any tips would be gratefully received
