No humidity down this end of Australia either is there Buzzy.Really the top priority should be work, all the rest are incidentals.

Melbourne actually has IMO the most liveable weather in Australia.
Are you coming to Australia to live or do you think you will be lying on the beach all day every day
Melbourne has many hotter summers days than Brisbane or Sydney, no humidity, and it is much drier than either place. The winters are cool (daytime 10-15 degrees) but still very sunny.

Yep, Central Coast is now on top of list - looking at Gosford, along with Illawarra - Wollongong

We went through this exercise 5 or 6 years ago. Perfect summer - hardly any days over 35, live without aircon. Perfect winter - overnight frost only once in 4 years, sunny and about 20 during the day. Floods - live on a hill away from running water. Gales - don't face the coast. Storms - no large trees next to the house. Water supply - tank water so no restrictions on use.
