When to visit?/CNC Machinist
 

Don't expect to get visa for a while though we have passed the TRA, we have sold our house so have the money to do a trip over to find out about places to live, schools, where the work is etc. Should we go sooner rather that later, or would it be better to leave it until a few months before we're planning on moving (Easter 2006) so interviews would be a possibility? What have other people done?

Matt is a CNC Machinist, does anyone have experience of finding work in this industry in the Melbourne area? Are phone interviews normal? Is it helpful to use a relocation company or job agency to find work?
