I dont like doing stuff in the rain, but geeez its just the weather, its raining - so what? Is complaining about it going to change it? Find something else to do if you dont want to go out in it.

Despite everyone moaning, we dont get rain all day every day, one day soon it will fine up & then we can change the whinging to it being too cold, then too hot, then too humid ............ .

Build a bridge & get over it!

So could we! We are on water restrictions! I hate to see the complaining if we actually got alot of rain .

Anyway, you'd like the rain because the more rain leads to more growth of vegetation, which when dry leads to more fuel for fires, which leads to more chances to show your skill with a hose.

Firehose that is.
Wet winters followed by a hot summer in an El Nino Event - bingo(!)

Have to say, whilst I admire Ceri's attitude to activity in life even I'd prefer to exercise and walk in fine weather rather than rain.

No it won't change a darn thing, but its a free country and moaning helps lighten the load

It also helps those of us in Melbourne feel smug that we have blue skies and sunshine 99% of the time at the mo and the weather is perfect. But on saying that we could really do with some rain as we have had a 5000 gallon tank installed today and it would be nice if we could get it filled. (oh shit sorry, was that classed as moaning )

Now now you two. I am even more smug than Hevs as a) I am also enjoying the blue skies - this winter in Melly is a lot warmer/sunnier than last year - AND I don't have to worry about a 5000 gallon tank - philistine conservationist that I now look like.

I'm loving it we're able to have a bath wash the car and the tanks are still full. Last year it stopped raining on May 11th and didn't rain at all until September. We bought water 3 or 4 times, not this year though

How did your hunt for a wood burning stove go? Did you find a decent one?

By the way if anyone wants any water around the Caloundra area we are about to drain 5 inches off of our pool straight down the drain, we had to do this last week as well! And yes it has rained all last night and is still raining again today

Anyway moaning is good for you, it keeps your brain active

I hope so too, otherwise you'll be camping in a tent on your new house pad & then you really would have something to moan about .

For the first time since December we have had enough rain for water to run off into our dam! FINALLY!!!
