When evertythings rosy

Just when we thought everything was going ok had our visas 3 weeks now was ready to exchange on the house and our buyer of his property, his buyers have pulled out. So dissapointing now back to square 1 have ours back on the market and the guy who wants ours he has reduced his for a quick sale, but nothing as yet. Both of us have handed our notice in at work for 15th october have our leaving party on 23/9/ now it seems that we will never get to oz. Have got till april to enter oz not got enough money to go out there need to sell the house, but as you know the market is dead, will have to validate before april if we dont sell in need of karma, sorry for a miserable thread on sunday morning.

So sorry to read your problems. Will keep my fingers crossed that everything
will come right for you. We are just going through the house like whirlwinds getting it ready to go on market, but things do look grim on the selling front.
Sending you some karma.
Sharon.

Really, really sympathise with you. :( I think there are quite a few others in the same boat, not that it helps you. I am expecting my visa in a few weeks or so, but haven't dared put my home on the market yet. I have to be out there by end of March! You could always try and ask for an extension. Are you doing this by yourself or through an agent? Could you possibly go anyway and let the estate agents handle the sale? :) Just a thought.

Chin up mate, you've got your visa and your house will sell, no doubts there.

There's always power of attorney if you're out of the country to handle the sale, and the cost of flights, thats not a great deal of money is it?

Crack on with the plan. It will work out. Karma sent.

Hi!!

Hope you are bearing up!!!

It is all very difficult, we can sympathise having been through similar circumstances....sale falling through.....having given up good jobs etc.

It is far from easy, as you know but that IS one of the worst bits!! :(

We are now going to Melbourne having not sold But hope to sell soon or we will try renting our place out.......It is far from ideal but is better than staying with no jobs etc.

Just hope it works out for you. It does (in our experience) take longer than you expect and may end up with an unexpected turn.

Hope things pick up soon!!
