Smile When does it start to get warmer?

I know we are from the UK but........... got here 8 weeks ago and everyone is saying it's the coldest winter in a long time - granted it gets a bit chilly in the evening and morning but the days are lovely.

But when is 'winter' over and it gets warm enough to sit outside after work?

We have a barbie all ready but gets too dark n cold early to use it yet.

Also have lots of summer clothes we brought over and not used yet as we foolishly thought we wouldn't need anything warm.......

Ok, this is for WA but still, might help you....

After 9 yrs, I don't mind cold days, just hate cold nights, nothing worse than trying to get out of bed in the morning to try and get heaps of clothes on just to put the kettle on. So... end of September, early Oct, USUALLY (although there has been few unusual seasons lately) the nights get warmer, hence making the days nicer as it doesn't take forever for the sunshine to warm us up. By October, early november, easily T'shirt and shorts on and you'll be ok. December, you'll be complaining it's getting too hot, Jan it's unbearable, Feb too humid and hot, March "what a great weather, fab!", April "bit windy but not too cold", May "How bloody cold can it get?!"
Every year, same story, some colder, some warmer, but it's always too hot or too cold for someone (not meant as a personal comment for OP)
In honestly, wait until AFL Grand Final, that's what aussies consider the beginning of spring, should warm up from there!

I was in bris last august/september i remember it getting to 30c one day in august and it was ruddy humid too. I think one thing to def state global warming has no effect on the time the sun comes up or goes down only the state can do somthing about that GIVE THE POOR BUGGERS AN EXTRA HOUR IN THE SUN. (day light savings)
We are off to wa and they have just taken on day light saving for the first time and apparently they are all whinging they cant sleep at night

Anyone whining that they can't get to sleep because of DS is total idiot. If Brits can get 8 hours' sleep at 51 degrees north then they can in Perth at 31 degrees south.
