Hi,

We are currently gathering our paperwork to send off our visa application 136 non MODL I am 14 weeks pregnant, is there a form I can send off with the application to declare this?

Thanks,

KayC

Hmm might cause problems as the future one is not on the form but will need a passport and visa?

Personally I would delay the process if not actually sent to immigration yet. However if you are already in the system then you have to speak to your case officer. Either they will update your stuff or if you are not due to birth till after arrival in Oz, they will delay the visa so that the sprog can come. You want the delay as once the medicals are done the clock is ticking!

They won't let you in pregnant...they will send you home.

We haven't sent it yet - and not due until early July. I just wasn't sure if we could send application and then send a change when baby comes.

Also if you have to have medicals/x-rays done then they won't x-ray you whilst pregnant either.

Bad advice.

They won't let you in pregnant...they will send you home.

We had our request for meds just before we found out we were having a baby. Filled in the change of circumstances form along with a letter from my wifes doc stating that she was pregnant and a due date, and delayed the meds.
Just had a request from Adelaide to get our meds done and another change of circumstances form. Will add the little 'un onto the application, no added cost involved. Easy peasy japanesy.

Continue as normal. An unborn child cannot be a visa applicant. And I don't see any question on the form 47SK asking about pregnancy.

You tell DIMA on the earlier of:

- the baby arriving; or
- medicals being requested

In the latter case, application normally goes "on hold" until baby arrives and then whole family should do medicals at same time.

I was five months pregnant we my Husband applied and our application was sent off. Once our second son was born we just needed to let our agent know and get him a passport. These were sent off and our visa granted November 06. We will be arriving in Brisbane on 11th February :scared: .

Thanks for that - I was getting a bit concerned we might have to wait until the baby was here to send off the application.

Good Luck for February.

No, definately get it posted ASAP. If the lists, points or anything else change then you may not be eligible.
