When to buy??
 

Logic tells me that I wait until I have sold the house and then buy the plane tickets. However, is it really expensive not buying way in advance? How long before people go, do they get their tickets - 4 or 8 weeks? What have people done on here?

Don't go giving yourself something else to worry about ... wait until you have sold the house.

Bought ours after we had finalised the house sale and it was a couple of months before we went :)

Same here. Buy your tickets after your house has completed.

Absolutely, the last meet up place has had their coffee shop revamped. Yes going through with it all now and we have our court date at the end of the month and as the Cafcass officer stated: hope you have a lovely life in Australia to both of us and he has now consented we should have our order by the end of the month - starting to feel a little sick though.
