Whats your must do's in oz

Just wondering what are your top five things that you are going to do when you get to OZ.[list=1]
[1]Frazer island
[2]Swim or feed wild dolphins
[3]Get a tan without getting burnt
[4]Visit Uluru (ayers rock )
[5]The Whitsundays
Maybe a bit touristy but still i think good things to do, or is it like the UK all that history and culture but you never do any of it

1) Perth expedition in search of the infamous glass shoes.

2) Melbourne nightwatch. Spotting the nocturnal Scottish duo.

3) Sydney photographic tour. Snap the bubbles before they float North.

4) Gold Coast wildlife trek. Spaniel spotting.

5) Bayside outback to witness the AI in action.

:p :D

Climb Ayers rock, but it seems not to be very PC. But helping to erode the Great Barrier Reef by diving on it seems to be still quite popular. :D So I might do that instead..

3. Join a Footie Team (Soccer to all those aussies)
4. Spend Holidays touring Australia in my Kombi, Visiting places such as Ayers Rock.

I did the working holiday visa backpacker travel experience 4 years ago and had a ball! We started in Cairns and travelled down the east coast stopping off for the Whitsundays (definitely top of the list) and Frazer island (second top) along the way. We went swimming with wild dolphins in New Zealand however never bothered with ayers rock (saw it from the plane when flying over to England though!).

Getting burnt was inevitable for me!

Next year we are planning on driving - with Hels and her husband - from home in Melbourne up to Uluru, via the Birdsville Track - stop at the races - and the Simpson and Painted Deserts - then from Uluru (taking in the Olgas and Kings Canyon) before heading back to Melbourne via Coober Pedy and Adelaide.

The Birdsville Races are inthe first week of September - so we have a whole year to wait :( - but the way time flies, it won't seem that long !! :D

You never know who you might bump in to out there. We will be stopping at the Birdsville races as part of our outback tour next year. We are doing the full outback thing from east to west then north up to cape york and back along the coast. Can't wait. :)
