Cheers Karen and Andy Sunny Southend Whats the weather like in southend? My 8 year old loves Southend! She has been to OZ, Disney aand all over the place but she prefers peter pans playground!!! Strange but true! Debs |
Hi ya
We have had lovely weather, we went down the seafront last night and past peter pans. It looked quite nice with all the illuminations. Cheers Karen and Andy |

Cheers Karen and Andy Yes, we have had some marvellous weather. There really is so much more fun to be had when the weather is good. Apart form the seafront there are heaps lovely country walks and family pubs. Have you been to The Lodge on the way to Burnham, it has a large garden with lots of play equipment, two bouncy castles and they serve superb food. Another great pub is The Anchor on the River Crouch in Hullbridge, the kids love this one because it has play equipment inside and out and because it is right on the river they all bring their dabblers with bits of bacon or chicken and go crabbing. Where abouts in Southend do you live? Kind Regards ACE:) |
Perhaps they've found out about the white stilletoes and the handbag dancing ritual:scared:
Is 50 weeks processing time still not the norm then? |
Hi ya Ace
We live in North Crescent, just down the road from Somerfields along the Rochford Road. Are you going to the next essex meet???? Hopefully we will make it this time. Cheers Karen and Andy |

Cheers Karen and Andy Sorry for the delay in replying but I am back at uni now and get very little time to visit the forum and with a 7 year old and a 5 month old it has all been a bit mad. We live at the top of Ashingdon Hill on Stanley Road . We were hoping to go to the meet but Steve is working nights so he'll be sleeping and my parents are here on holiday and will be over for dinner if they leave early enough I might pop down with the kids. We managed to get to the last one, it was good fun and we met some really nice people. We have been planning to try Perth for the past 3 years but I must admit to having doubts about WA. We are keeping our options open but ultimately we will go where Steve can get an exchange or direct employment(he works in the oil industry) Where in Oz are you heading for? Kind Regards ACE :) |
