4C-14C here today, around 18C to 19C around Melbourne. It wasn't that bad a day in the end.

We are lucky to get a day above 10C here between early June and late August and a lot of days end up with maximums between 6C and 9C.

Yep, I know. This will be my sixth winter here. My first ever morning here as a resident was minus 6! I find summer to be a walk in the park and winter very difficult now. Still, wouldn't change it.

Currently 12.4 in Thirroul (5.55am) heading for a top of 21. We had a really nice 26 on Saturday, bit windy, but since then........down down down. A definite nip in the air this morning when I took the dog out.
Last night apparently was the coldest night so far this year for everywhere except WA. Snow and about -3 in central Vic (Mt Hotham and Mt Buller and as far north as Charlotte Pass).

Turned the heating on today. A few days of 15 max ahead.
Good job most of the rain is coming at night at the mo.
