Yep, you're right. Highest here so far is 18.7. Parts of Melbourne hit 20 a few days ago but that was pretty limited.

Of course, today I have painting to do outside and its drizzle and 13.3. Getting VERY bored with it now.

It's been totally UK weather today, seriously depressing but..... in the UK there's no way I would still have sat at a beachside cafe having lunch with the doors all open so different in that respect.

I think you've just summed up the whole thing and hit the nail on the head. Being outdoors is SO important and as crap as this winter has been, I still get out a lot more than I did in Ingerland.

Even though I complain about it being cold, I have not been as cold as I used to be in the UK winter since I got here. Not too hard really as I lived pretty high on a hill in the Yorkshire Dales

I am NOT looking forward to my trip to the UK in November for that very reason. I am just hoping that my idol will make up for it. It's the ONLY reason I'm going at that time of year...or at all actually!

Well it never really gets cold here if you ask me. Certainly not UK cold anyway.

When I went back it was November / December and I remember seeing frosted windows again ...lol

No real urge to return again, apart from the odd one for food!
