Temperatures are OK here. Low to mid teens minimums ranging to low 20s maximums here. About 4C to 5C warmer in Melbourne though near to sea level.

The trouble atm is the extreme wet. The ground is completely waterlogged with about an inch of water on top of that. Every step is like walking in a puddle. This is pretty unusual for this time of year when things should be just starting to dry out a bit.

Finally stopped raining here in the Gong - we've had about 140mm since Monday. A bit like that funny english rain that soaks you right through. Still hovering around the 20 degree mark though.

Sun is trying to make an appearance today but the forecast for the weekend is more wet stuff. Should I grumble?

Trust me, you really don't want to be here right now. Put a snow pic on your PC, that should do it

My apologies.

A friend last night offered to make me several daiquairis and sprinkle some soap flakes outside the window, how thoughtful was that??
