Re: What's the Temperature where you are now?
24.5C here today. Storms this evening, another 13.5mm of rain but places nearby had up to 52mm of rain from a single storm.
Extremely muggy today. Melbourne was 24C and 63% humidity around lunchtime with a higher dew point than Brisbane.
A deluge is forecast for tomorrow with 25-50mm likely here on the central VIC ranges and some models predicting another 25-50mm on Sunday.
We have already had 1044mm here this year at my place. The annual average is only around 850mm.
So much for all of Australia being a dry dusty desert.

Yeah I saw that on the weather channel this morning.
Good luck for the weekend. It looks grim.

Was the same last year over there. Freezing cold for months on end and a fair bit of snow.
My thoughts are with you.

10C here at 11:25am.
Enormous rainfall totals across the state, it is starting to resemble Noahs Ark.
115mm here since Thursday, 198mm for the month and 1118mm for the year.
We've had 368mm (14.7 inches) here in the last 8 weeks. Many creeks and rivers in central and northern Victoria are in severe flood. Lake Eppalock is full and spilling for the first time in about 10 years. Several other dams in the north central parts of VIC are releasing huge amounts of water downstream flooding areas below.
Did someone say Australia was dry, brown and dusty? Maybe the desert and outback areas where few people live but certainly not here.
