For all those of you who reckon Tassie is always chilly.....Hobart hit 34 degrees today - hottest November day in 22 years

I notice it was 36C in Hobart on the 23rd November, 1966 and 34.6C on the 31st October 1987, so they certainly do get some hot days occasionally. It was actually 2C hotter in Hobart than Melbourne today.
A prolonged spell of heavy rain and storms about to hit Melbourne, Victoria and most of NSW from around Thursday to Sunday (although the official forecast says it might continue until mid next week). After that eastern QLD will get it.

About 24 I reckon at 08.30am in Thirroul. Weatherzone says 21 but they measure that off the point at Bellambi and there's always a nice breeze there - much hotter in my garden I'm sure. Maybe I'll get me one of those measuring device thingies.
