Seems to be fairly quiet at the mo.
I thought there were big fires in the Flinders and around Mellie?

Here in Sydney it is drizzling- just because I have to do my junk mail delivery round- 3 hours walking today.

Ah, but we don't get many 40+ days - doing my round in that would make me melt.

Well they don't get those in Brisbane either.

Brisbane is doing its usual jan, feb, march, thing of 28 or 30 with possible shower or occasional storm.

Odd spell of mid 30 and one day of 41, that day was HELL. Luckily it was just a day.

We don't get them either thankfully. I hope it's not raining in Sydney when I'm there in three weeks time.

Indeed. Very few storms this year too.

Didn't even get that one day of 41 near Brisbane itself luckily...think it topped out at 38 around us. I think beaudesert, ipswich and some parts north got it though.

Still weirdly mild here, rain but no real flooding like others have seen. Unfortunately no snow but it snowed at our boys school the other day.

I have friends affected by the flooding around the Thames Valley area - Old Windsor, Windsor, Datchet - more in Marlow today. Also have distant relatives being affected in Warwickshire. Does seem to be particularly widespread this year with others affected in Somerset, Devon and Cornwall. And more rain forecast I think

Yes some areas have been hit really hard, there is localised flooding not far from us. I had to go past a car stopped in the road yesterday trying to decide whether to risk it or not. It's just water but I think they wanted someone else to go first, always happy to oblige. Having lived through a few floods in Brisbane and having it run into the house I am a bit blasé about it now to be honest. I do feel for those badly affected.
